Local-first budgeting
Each budget is a file you control. Infinite budget files means you can go as granular as you like - separate budgets for personal, household, side-hustle, or business use, with your Mac as the centre of your financial records.
What works offline
Everything! You can open budget files, review categorised transactions, inspect reports, adjust categories, and work with existing data directly on your Mac. Downloading the app, Mac App Store purchase handling, email support, and new bank exports use their relevant external services.
Keep your budgets backed up
Use your normal Mac backup system, duplicate important
.etpb files before major changes, and use Escape The
Paper archives when you need a portable copy.
